Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancelling stops future billing. Access remains until your current term ends. Cancel in your PayPal account or email us.

Do I get invoices/receipts?

PayPal emails receipts automatically and shows your billing history.

Terms of Service

1) Service

SwiftHost by Cynord provides managed web hosting (the “Service”), including storage, bandwidth, SSL, and related features as described on each plan page. Some features vary by plan (e.g., number of sites, storage, email accounts, backups, and support level).

2) Accounts & Provisioning

After you subscribe via PayPal, email info@cynord.com with your subscription ID. We will provision your hosting within a reasonable time. You are responsible for securing your login credentials and for activity under your account.

3) Billing, Setup Fee, Taxes & Currency

Pricing is in CAD and billed as a recurring PayPal subscription. A one-time setup fee of CAD $20 applies per new plan activation and is charged at provisioning; this fee is non-refundable once provisioning begins. Taxes (e.g., HST/GST) may apply based on your location and will be handled by PayPal where supported. Prices and plan limits may change with notice via the website or email.

4) Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel at any time via your PayPal account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future billing; access continues until the end of the paid term. Unless required by law, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused time.

5) Uptime & Maintenance

We target 99.9% monthly uptime. Scheduled maintenance and factors outside our reasonable control (e.g., DDoS, upstream network issues, force majeure) are excluded. We’ll post or email maintenance notices when practical.

6) Backups & Data

Daily backups are included with the Business plan. Backups are provided as a convenience and do not replace your own backup strategy. You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of your content.

7) Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for illegal content or activities, malware, phishing, spam, resource abuse, or material that infringes others’ rights. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or disrupt platform stability.

8) Support

Support is primarily via email at info@cynord.com. Priority support applies to the Business plan.

9) Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to fees paid by you for the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10) Changes & Governing Law

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version on this page. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and applicable federal laws of Canada.
